The veterinary physical medicine rehabilitation and sports medicine in-home programs offered:
Obesity Weight Loss Program
Designed to reduce disease risk and improve quality of life, including enhanced function, performance, and endurance.
Osteoarthritis Program
Designed to improve active, pain-free range of motion, including lameness reduction.
Geriatric Program
Designed to improve the quality of daily living, including bodily changes in cardiorespiratory and musculoskeletal fitness and positive psychological benefits.
Neuro-paralyzed and Amputee program
Designed to improve function, maintain muscle strength, increase muscle mass, and independence in daily living activities.
Post-injury Program
Designed to improve recovery rate, biomechanics, and quality of movement.
Post-surgical Program
Designed to improve recovery rate, biomechanics, and quality of movement. The goal of rehabilitation post surgery (e.g., cruciate repair, fracture repair) is to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. This means post-operatively the animal that is being properly managed (as supported by the veterinary peer-reviewed literature) does not just sit in the cage. Instead that animal receives pain medication and rehabilitation focused on modalities such as laser, therapeutic ultrasound, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) , acupuncture along with massage, passive range of motion exercises (PROM) and stretching. The therapeutic exercise part of the program starts weeks later. (e.g., 2-4 weeks). This is the gold standard in veterinary post-operative care that experienced surgeons know will benefit their patients. Dr. Pollard-Wright has first hand knowledge of this gold standard as all of her orthopedic surgery patients received this kind of post-operative care and benefited (refer to the About page on the Veterinary Kinetics Rehab website and the section “What animal owners have said about Dr. Holly.”)

Endurance Program
Designed to cause metabolic changes that depend on the principles of intensity, duration, frequency, and training methods in which central and peripheral physiological changes occur.
